The church is so beautiful… much more than it can be fathomed. Its experienced and loved ❤️
A lot, A LOT of remembering the truth:
We are blessed and well.
We are God’s children.
All is in his caring, truly caring hands.
Yet… mood is not enough to sustain… discipline, estámina…
…and for a mum like me: allowance. Allowance to be present for my children who love me and need me so deeply.
That’s all I want… true care, true wonder, true love and passion out of this life.
There’s consent… attention… respect… maybe even care and love..
I like it here..!..

I am his loving, walking temple. His precious temple. Where he gathers.

Im learning that paying attention to myself is not an act of selfishness, it’s an act of self awareness…
…it’s an act of noticing my presence. It’s an step towards surrender…
…it’s an step towards his will to be done in my life that matter and can make a difference, because He makes a difference.
He makes all things new. He brings hope where there was any.

Treat my self, commit to quiet time, check in with myself, protect my work from harsh environments, encourage myself…
I love the idea of babying myself…! I can do it. I can be nice to myself. It’s not selfish.

But I want to be nice with myself now… I want to know that I deserve a treat after doing something hard and that I can do that for myself.
I want to be stern at the first shadow of doubt and remember I am able to do great things. I am able to grow and develop.
I want to follow Jesus’ example. He is so good. So kind and tender. So encouraging. So loving.
