Greetings to all of you, my people. I am so happy to see the stupendous banquet of choices for us now. I will be, I hope, 80 years old in a few months. I had to write to distant bookstores and research and seek out treasures. Bibliography section of Sex Deviant Women in Literature (found it in the library, bought the paperback, tore out the bibliography and carried it in my pocket). I had The Well of Loneliness, Patience and Sarah, When It Changed, and Desert of the Heart. I am so happy that we can find each other here – thank you Heather – and that we can finally be ourselves.

I would like to add just a singular novel: Light from Uncommon Stars by Ryka Aoki is a fantasy/sci-fi novel about a transgender violinist, a demon-bargaining violin teacher, and an alien donut shop owner whose lives intertwine in California's San Gabriel Valley, blending Faustian bargains, cursed violins, and found family with themes of identity, love, and art.

Wait, you like Carol? (Jk!) God help me for this but Glee 2x15 Sexy with the Brittana/ Holly Holiday version of Landslide healed things in my 32 year old heart that years of therapy did not. To see those closeted high school girls— sigh. That show was bonkers but boy, we had fun with it, didn’t we?

I'm intimately familiar with about half of these (on your recommendation!), and considering how many of them are also my all-time favorites, I love this "to-do list" of queer goodness! This is perfectly timed, since I'm in between audiobooks :)
