There’s a special kind of magic in walking through San Francisco, a rhythm that lives in its hills, the breezes off the Bay, and the patchwork of neighborhoods that feel both distinct and connected. I’ve always loved this city for that feeling, but on my most recent trip, it felt even more alive.

The past few years were hard on San Francisco with shuttered storefronts, quiet streets, and uncertainty. But this time, it seemed the city had turned a corner. There was a vibrancy again, a spark that reminded me of my first visit in 2018 when I first fell for the place.
