5 Recipes I've been making on repeat
Because even food bloggers have favorites!
Jun 16, 2026
Friends, I’m going to be honest. I do so much recipe testing and development, which means plenty of recipes every single week. But there are still a handful of recipes I make over and over again, sometimes twice a week.
I’m sharing 5 of my favorites that I’ve been making week over week for the last 5 to 10 years. Many readers have enjoyed it too- I’ve been loving the photos you’ve been sharing on social media :)
Air fryer orange chicken
I used to live on orange chicken. I’m talking Chinese takeout with all the MSG and deep-fried goodness. My copycat recipe looks and tastes the same, but skips the deep frying AND cuts back on all the added sugar. I love it over basmati rice and with a side of air fryer broccolini.
Instant Pot chicken thighs
Everyone needs a go-to chicken thigh recipe, and nothing beats my Instant Pot method. I usually meal prep this for my partner and me, and if we’re watching our carbs, we usually enjoy it with cauliflower mashed potatoes. If not, air-fryer breakfast potatoes or curry-fried rice it is!
Firecracker meatballs
I had a HelloFresh membership for two years, and once every month I’d get firecracker meatballs. They were SO good that I needed to recreate them. It’s so quick and easy, and not too spicy for picky eaters. I love the sauce so much, I’ve used it for salmon, chicken, and shrimp!
Protein banana bread
High protein banana bread - one of my favorite recipes since 2015. It’s so moist and fluffy and has a gorgeous, tender crumb. I usually enjoy it on its own, but it’s great with some almond butter spread on top.
Air fryer peaches
Grilled peaches are one of my favorite things ever. I was hesitant to use the air fryer, but I was pleasantly surprised- it’s so juicy, caramelized, and perfect with some sugar free frozen yogurt or cookie dough ice cream.
