### woo woo woo

Hi Friends!

Wednesday turned to Thursday, which turned to Sunday, and… well, I just never worked up the energy to post a prompt here. But, I’m feeling more like myself, so here we are with our 49th prompt for The FreeWrite! Let’s goooooo!

**This week’s prompt is: I am/I can/I deserve/I will…**

This week, we are hyping ourselves up! I want you to create an affirmation (or multiple affirmations) that you NEED. Oh, I know, some folks think affirmations are woo-woo or whatever, but honestly, it’s just you being nice to yourself. What’s “woo-woo” about that? Inner kindness is actually hard work. Like, super hard. We give grace to others with a quickness, but withhold it from ourselves like a punishment or something. No good. So I want you to sit with yourself for a few minutes. Pay attention to what comes up. Where do your thoughts take you? What is your body asking for? Is your inner child peeking out, perhaps, hoping to have a little chit chat? And then, speak to these things. Speak healing into the achy knee. Speak acceptance into the parts of you that have been feeling a bit neglected. Affirm that, although flawed at times, you are human and deserve love, care, and to feel how you feel. Be brave, be confident, and if needed, fake it till you make it! You deserve good things, friend. Claim them.

**An affirmation for myself that I need as I tackle the many piles that have accumulated in my space:** I deserve a space that feels comfortable, functional, and like home.

It’s simple but I needed to hear that, from me.

If you need a reminder of how The FreeWrite works, you can check out the full details [here](https://open.substack.com/pub/talichaj/p/the-freewrite?r=11vp11&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web&showWelcomeOnShare=false), but the short version is this:

→ You free write—whatever that looks like for you.
→ Then drop a link to your writing in the comments of this post so we can read and celebrate each other’s work by commenting.

No pressure to be polished. Just show up. That’s the magic.

**Happy free writing friends!**
