### Itty Bitty

**This week’s prompt:** **It's the little things in life…**

While laughing with friends over something that I can’t even remember, I sighed and said the well-known quote, “ _It’s the little things in life_”. The thing we were laughing about was something small, but the joy was big. So here is a chance for you to honor those instances. What tiny moments or things fill you up? What sparks laughter? Who do you often share those experiences with? Do you even remember _what_ brought you such amusement or is it more of the feeling you cherish? And ultimately, what do you consider as “the little things”? I think each of us may have a different definition, which is pretty cool. Whatever you do, go forth and write, friends!

[Talicha J.](https://www.instagram.com/talichajpoetry) is a Black queer poet, teaching artist, and Pushcart Prize and Best of Net nominee. She was a 2024 Collaborating Fellow at The Poetry Lab.
