The amount of messy and drama that is The Polygamist has me sat. I’ve been watching cute-sy lil rom coms or crime shows recently, nothing close to this. I—I need everyone involved in this production to come to the front right neow.

Today was my mom’s birthday 🎉 she passed away in 2015 but would have been 77 😱 time is weird. I was working so I wasn’t able to celebrate but I think tomorrow I’ll go to the store and get some of her favorites to snack on. Maybe I’ll even watch a little bit of Xena, we used to watch it together every Saturday when I was a kid. Happy born day, mom 💜

I love making zentangles, they are so soothing. I made this one while thinking about boundaries. Lately, I’ve been trying to select my boundaries around social media. (Hence me deleting all apps but substack from my phone)

My hope was that I would start making more: zentangles, zines, art, writing letters, etc. and it worked. I still chec…

Deleting my most used social media apps this week has led to me doing something I’ve never done just for the heck of it: I read a scientific study 🤣 the whole thing. I was locked in. I find myself still reaching for my phone to scroll because my body is just used to filling every empty space with content, videos, entertainment...

They turned me every which way but loose at work today 😭 on JUNETEENTH!!! I got stomped. I haven’t been that busy since 2019.

Work is kicking my butt rn. My brain is tired. Send caffeinated thoughts my way pls.

How busy have I been? Well my shift is 13 hours, I get off in less than an hour and I’m only just now taking my lunch 😭

52 weeks of The FreeWrite! I can’t believe this little prompt space is a year old! Thanks for writing with meeeee 💜

This week, I invite you to examine something you’ve been putting off. Whether its a chore, a conversation, scheduling an appointment…anything you’ve been passing off for later. What is the block? What physical sensations come up when you think about it?

Camp Write Start begins in a few weeks!

There’s no one right way to show up for Camp.

Messy notebooks? Bring em!

Pajamas all day? Yes, please!

As they say, the saxophones are getting louder because what do you mean?!?! 🤣

Wake up friend, The FreeWrite just dropped!

Sometimes we already know the answers but refuse to admit it. We look everywhere but directly at the things we need to just deal with. Because the truth can mean change. It can mean discomfort. It can mean admitting to something we’d really just rather not.
