#### Today’s essay is about letting the day end.

The body lies down,

but the mind keeps working,

answering,

replaying,

and preparing.

A day does not need a perfect conclusion.

Sometimes it only needs permission to end.

A day can end on the clock without ending inside us.

#### Wabi-sabi is not minimalism.

Minimalism is about control. You decide what stays. You curate. The emptiness is designed.

Wabi-sabi is about acceptance. The worn stone is not worn because someone decided to wear it. It is worn because people walked on it for a hundred years and the stone yielded.

The beauty is not designed. It is received.

#### Kintsugi does not restore a bowl to its original state.

It does not pretend the breaking did not happen.

It acknowledges the breaking. Makes it visible. Makes it permanent.

And says: what the bowl is now includes this history.

The crack is not a reduction. It is an addition.

What is added is the story of having been broken and continuing anyway.
