Mr. Krugman keeps talking about the damage that NACHO is causing in absolute terms, but those terms don't matter to Trump or the GOP. What they care about is damage to the US specifically, and even more specifically the stock market and the price of Bitcoin. In the past year we have seen that those things are the ONLY thing that actually changes Trump/GOP behavior.
