The vote isn't the story.
Everyone is talking about the Senate War Powers vote.

Four Republicans joined Democrats and voted to limit Trump's ability to resume military operations against Iran without congressional approval.

That's the headline. But I don't think the vote is the story. I mean, come on, we are in an election year, and seats are literally on the line. So to me sitting here, pressure is the story. Because Congress or the Senate didn't suddenly discover war powers either. The Constitut…


Just a note,

The last time a GOP Congress passed anything that helped a massive swath of working class Americans was 1996. Everything else has been to aid small segments of the population due to pressure Conservative groups like Veterans or Coal Miners. Everything else has been to help donors.


A nice reminder that 300 Billion is the number as of 2025 the U.S. has given Israel over the decades.

If we know it, Iran knows it too. So the idea that this is a number that pops up out of nowhere is a little to ironic.
