Thanks very much for comments. My gut tells me that AI is probably both overrated and somewhat dangerous to a healthy future for humanity. I also think humans should be much more focused on addressing the really dangerous things that we are doing to the biosphere!

Totally agree. Seems no sector of America is untouched by our assumption that and adoration toward “bigger is better”. Calling it “AI”, or should I say being *allowed* to call it AI, has also been a driving factor in the bubble. I have wondered if “LLMs” would have had the same rapid uptake. Doubtful. People have been working at AI since at least the '70s. LLM is just an approach to achieving Artificial Intelligence.

and to end with. Biden wasn't in them and they were still being handled by the court system. It's only when hearings ended that the files could have been released anyway.
