I mentioned last week that _I Still Know What You Did Last Summer_ is profoundly insane. Here are some things that happen in that movie:

- Julie and her roommate Karla (Brandy!) win a trip to the Bahamas for like, literally the next day, and no one asks a single follow up question
- The resort has zero other guests, because apparently the 4th of July is the start of hurricane season.
- A hurricane starts immediately once the kids get there.
- JLH gets to sing karaoke. Brandy does not.
- Jack Black has a shock…

Today is my fortieth birthday. This Substack represents a type of writing I have wanted to do since I found Chuck Klosterman, The Agony Booth, and My Year of Flops in college. I always told myself no one cared what I had to say about movies or horror and it was silly to put my voice out there.
