A lot of liberals, a lot of people on the left,

are in what I call ‘AI denial’. They're in denial about the sheer scale of what's coming, the world-historical significance of it, and they're feeding themselves a steady stream of comforting, highbrow misinformation. (That’s it’s all fake, all a bubble, that AI has no real use cases.)

To be clear: this is the largest capital build-out in the recorded history of our species. It’s larger than the interstate highway system. Larger than the International Space Station. Larger than the Moon Landing and the Manhattan Project combined, and it is not even close.
