Are We Using Tongues to Avoid Talking to God? I was in a service recently when the worship leader said something like, “Let’s begin to exalt the name of the Lord.”

i have a sore injury in my mouth and suddenly i can relate to the “some have food but cannot eat” song we sang, help!😭

how can i fail when you carry me?🥹

i have set the Lord before me, He is at my right hand!

i have the set the Lord before me, so my feet will not be moved!

if we believe in God only when he is doing “great” things for us, we are not really serving him, we are only using Him.

when we say to God, “i’ll serve you only if X happens,” then it is X we love, and God is just a necessary apparatus for obtaining it.

Pre-service photos with Pastor Ola. Heard a lot about his ministry so I decided to attend today. He’s a little too friendly (as is evidenced by these pictures) but overall, great service. His sermon really blessed me. Will be coming again next Sunday.
