The room of doom...

The first in a series of room by room tours here at Admirals!

The (hopefully obvious!) before… it actually doesn’t look so bad here… but it really was - the smell more than anything from the damp and rot and… critters!

Well folks, I thought - now I’m sort of set up properly with substack and am slowly getting the hang of it, that it would be a good opportunity to do a bit of a ‘deep dive’ into each room I’ve done so far… Obviously you’ll have seen all these a million times on Instagram, but that only lets me go into very limited detail! Similarly I’ve done something similar in my book, but again, there were character limits in place there too - so even that was sort of a ‘highlights’ reel… here I can really, really get into the dull nitty-gritty without worrying about pleasing an algorithm or an editor for the few of you that might be interested!

I’ll include a full source list of everything in there… as well as really going into the detail of how these spaces came together as well as - if relevant - anything I would do differently (in this instance, not putting the wallpaper on upside down would be a good start!).
