Earth's First Trillionaire Welfare Queen
Earth's First Trillionaire Welfare Queen
A Story About Subsidies, Stock Hype, And Why Being White Supremacist Isn’t Bad For Business.
Jun 13, 2026
To paraphrase the prophets: if you became the Earth’s First Trillionaire, while people were starving on that same Earth, wouldn’t you just be fuckin’ embarrassed?
Mr. Musk has become the world’s first trillionaire, and we don’t even have language for that amount of money. A billion seconds is approximately 31 years. A trillion seconds is almost 32,000 years.
If Musk had started spending a million dollars a day on facial treatments back when humans first began building Stonehenge, all the way up to now, he’d still have plenty of money. And he’d look exactly the same.
It’s telling that the culture at large isn’t looking at this and thinking “What an inspiring story.”
This is the story of a guy who was born rich, and got richer on public money, while convincing millions of white guys that government is the problem. He is both The First Trillionaire and The Last Person Who Needed More Money.
The World’s Richest Recipient of Public Assistance
SpaceX alone has received billions in government contracts and subsidies. Economists estimate this may have been the Largest Transfer Of Public Wealth Into Private Ego Ever Recorded.
Tesla was built in part with public support, tax credits, public infrastructure, government-backed loans, publicly funded research, and taxpayer incentives.
In other words, Elon Musk is what would happen if Ayn Rand’s heroes were raised entirely by welfare, and then spent their adulthood complaining about welfare.
Imagine collecting government money for twenty years and then lecturing people who weren’t born wealthy about self-reliance. This man was so publicly subsidized he probably qualifies for reduced school lunches.
Elon Musk hates welfare the way a guy on his fourth plate hates buffets.
Musky Galore; Worst-Ever Bond Villain
And the gratitude for your US taxpayer subsidies was notable. Some might send a thank-you note. Mr. Musk got rich enough to purchase Twitter and spend his days posting about white genocide.
Now, the world’s first trillionaire can amplify race panic, promote conspiracy theories, boost all manner of Jew-hating douchebag, and flirt with white nationalist talking points.
Faiz Sizziqi and Jeremy Merrill’s excellent analysis in The Washington Post reported that hundreds of Musk’s recent posts focused on whiteness, immigration, affirmative action, and “demographic change.” Your first trillionaire, Earthlings.
Congratulations, sir. You’ve unlocked Platinum Oligarch status.
When most billionaires run out of things to spend money on, they buy another yacht or Senator.
Musk bought himself a vital a government agency and started feeding life-saving programs into what he called a “wood chipper.” According to former USAID officials, programs that helped prevent disease, famine, and child deaths were dismantled so quickly that hundreds of thousands of deaths have already been linked to the collapse, with projections reaching much higher.
That’s a hell of a résumé item for Earth’s first trillionaire. A six-figure body count. And again, the remarkable thing here isn’t that he could easily help people, but refused. Plenty of rich guys do that, at least quietly.
Apartheid Nepo-Baby took an agency whose entire purpose was helping Earth’s poorest people stay alive and treated it like an irritating software bug, or baby mama.
You’ve got to imagine being so rich that you could personally fund global health programs forever, saving millions and going down in history for your service and humanity; then deciding instead to deliberately cause mass disease and death.
What should our media call a man with enough money to save millions, but chooses to destroy the programs doing it? Apparently, a visionary.
The White Supremacy Stress Test
And Wall Street rolls over like a golden retriever.
“Did he post more white supremacist garbage?”
“He did.”
“OK, here’s another $200 billion.”
Wall Street regards Elon Musk the way medieval peasants regarded comets. They just assume it’s magical. Elon can tweet something objectively insane before breakfast and analysts call it a growth catalyst by lunch.
For all we’ve heard about corporate values, diversity, social responsibility, stakeholder capitalism, and ethical investing, the reality is that in 2026 white supremacy isn’t a dealbreaker for Wall Street.
Neither is union busting, misinformation, or dismantling aid programs. Neither is turning a social media platform into a nazi comment section, apparently filled with divorced uncles on crank after the monster truck rally.
There’s only one unforgivable sin in American capitalism, and it’s being poor.
The Future Is Always Next Year
Much has been said about how Musk spent years cultivating this image of Tony Stark, before slowly transforming into a guy Tony Stark spends several movies trying to stop.
At first he was the cool futurist, with the electric cars, and reusable rockets, and he’s got plans for mass transit systems and oh, we’re going to Mars, too? Now it’s like Lex Luthor controls Metropolis, and he’s also your uncle who forwards the racist chain emails.
And keep in mind, Earth’s First Trillionaire, the once-in-a-generation genius, has propelled himself to that mountain on…. promises of things to come.
And we’re still waiting on quite a few of those promises.
*Remember Hyperloop? It was going to revolutionize West Coast travel?
*Remember full self-driving? Waymo’s doing it.
*Remember robot armies?
*Remember Mars colonies?
Friends, this guy sells “tomorrow” the way Trump sells Peace Deals and Infrastructure Plans. Sure, he created his own AI system. Now if only it would stop generating child porn.
But the miracle’s always arriving soon, just 18 months away. You’ll see.
Musk found the greatest business model ever - keep selling the same future, and Wall Street will keep buying it.
The Trillion-Dollar Grievance Machine
And while all this is happening, people can’t pay rent, can’t afford groceries, can’t afford gas; people skip medical treatment and families are swimming in debt. Millions of Americans - of all political ideologies - are working harder than ever while still falling behind.
And one millionaire-at-birth accumulates enough wealth on paper to rival the GDP of multiple countries.
Friends, if the aliens landed and asked us how our species distributes resources, how’s that gonna go?
HUMANS: Well, you see, some people can’t afford insulin.
ALIENS: Okay...
HUMANS: Oh but this one guy has enough money to purchase a continent.
ALIENS: What does he do?
HUMANS: I don’t know. He posts a lot.
America’s giving us all a gift for her 250th birthday - a very clear look at how some power is not in any way subject to accountability. If an ordinary employee lies repeatedly, they get fired; if The Trillionaire lies repeatedly, analysts raise the price target.
If someone at your job kept openly retweeting white supremacists, they’d probably get fired. If Musk does it, Wall Street Sustains Focus on Growth Opportunity.
The Most Expensive Midlife Crisis In Human History
History’s First Trillionaire hasn’t tried to cure cancer, end poverty, or solve the Climate crisis. He could’ve done any of that. He still could, if he wanted.
The first trillionaire is a guy who became famous for electric cars, got richer from government contracts, bought a social media platform, spent years amplifying conspiracy theories and racial grievance, and somehow convinced millions of working class white guys that white guys are the victims.
And he’s still furiously posting like he’s mad they kicked him out of D&D club. That’s the amazing part; that no amount of money ever seems to fill the hole.
At a trillion dollars, most guys would disappear. Buy an island, become eccentric, create a harem of Sophia Loren clones. Not this guy. A trillion dollars later he’s still bug-eyed and online at 3 a.m. arguing with eggshell avatars about race science.
His wealth keeps growing, his grievances keep growing, and his addiction to attention keeps growing.
