I always find it so fascinating (and absurd) when monotheists describe polytheism as immoral and false for worshipping "man-made gods" when we are the ones who encoded reverence for the Divine in all its manifestations (the sun, the moon, the earth, the oceans, etc.) and they are the ones who follow the word of a human prophet who told them who the one true god is.

The right amount of sun, wind, showers and clinginess is revealing me more and more to my own self. Can’t say it’s as pleasant as it looks

so much of my life is travelling alone in it. When you are truly alone with your feelings every trip is a big travel. Coming back from picking up coffee feels like hours long contemplation about so much.
It’s probably something everyone feels but it weighs me down these days to travel so much, so fast, so lone.
All the solo travellers here, how do you keep it fun?

Watched a dad teach his daughter to ride a bike yesterday. He ran beside her for an hour. She fell six times. He picked her up six times. Never sighed. Never told her to hurry up. When she finally rode 20 feet on her own he cried into his hands and pretended it was sweat. That little girl will marry a good man. She has the template.

It’s crazy how importance works for our brains. Months ago I was enthusiastic about growing my work and reach here, today I hit 100 subscribers and I feel so grateful yet so joy-less, because I unknowingly hurt someone I actually love. So for now all of my brain’s attention is in feeling that pain.

What a thought provoking read. I have to admit that I didn’t seem very familiar and comfortable reading some of the detailed references but overall, a great piece for those who long to explore the nature of dreaming🍀
