1. Who am I
I earned my PhD in South Korea, then I am now working as a semiconductor engineer at a Fortune 500 company in Silicon Valley.
2. My Strength
I have had the unusual opportunity to work across both foundry and fabless, as well as post silicon and pre silicon. That has given me a broad and practical view of the semiconductor industry, spanning design, test, packaging, and yield. I believe this is one of the biggest strengths of my writing.
I do not like writing in a way that is unnecessarily difficult. Deep technical analysis and paper level detail certainly matter. But what matters even more to me is explaining complex semiconductor technologies in a way that ordinary readers can actually understand.
I am also building a global networking community of about 1,000 professionals working at major tech companies around the world. Whenever possible, my technology and company analysis articles are grounded in interviews and conversations with people actually working in the field. I believe this is one of the clearest ways my work stands apart from other tech writers.
3. What I Offer
I explain the most important semiconductor and AI technologies in a way that is easy to understand.
I analyze companies that may benefit in the AI era but are still underappreciated or undervalued.
I provide field level insight gained through networking with industry professionals, beyond what can be seen in the news, and connect that insight to a deeper explanation of what these technologies actually mean for the industry and the market.
