Happy Pride

Happier when cheaper!

Jun 02, 2026

Here we go again, Pride season is upon us, and what better way to celebrate than with a 50% discount on a Blake Wex annual subscription? Okay, I’m sure you could think of better ways... but hey, that’s not bad either. Just click here!

Seriously, I wish you all a happy, proud, and gay future!

If you’ve read my stories (some are available for free like this one), you’ll know that my men embrace their sexuality very freely, as everyone should. Maybe that’s because I set most of my narrative in a fictional country, but it shouldn’t be that way: every country should be like Berven, a place where people can thrive regardless of race, religion, or sexual identity. Does that sound too idealistic? Maybe, but I firmly believe that’s what we should all aspire to.

As you may know by now, I’m originally from Italy, a country that doesn’t shine for its achievements in equality (civil unions are legal, but same-sex marriage is still a long way off, for example). But when I moved abroad, that had nothing to do with me being gay: since my coming out, many years ago, I’ve never experienced any problem, even though I grew up in a city that used to be quite conservative ( not anymore! 😃). Probably because my family and my circle of friends were already moving in progressive and liberal circles.

All over the world, we hear this message that being liberal is elitist, that liberals don’t care about ordinary people, a dangerous message often promoted by billionaires interested only in their own gain.

Well, I’m proud to say that my father was a factory worker and my mother a cleaner, and that there is indeed enough room in politics to encompass it all: social, economic, and environmental justice.

Happy Pride, everyone! ❤🧡💛💚💙💜

Well, that turned out more political than I had in mind! But you get the message😂!

Speaking of economic justice, I’m not here to get rich, I’m here because I love writing, but of course your financial support is helpful. As I said before, if you think you’ve paid too much for your subscription, contact me and we’ll find a solution.

Cheers, Blake
