As a Chicagoan, I hate it, but I love when they dye the River green. But no way in hell does the Chicago river look like this cesspool in DC. At least our green goes away after a couple months. That what makes it a Chicago Tradition.
Not like this algae ridden pond where the ducks look like they can’t breathe anymore.
ICYMI: Trump’s reflecting pool is gross. It is full of algae and turning a bright green color, like the Chicago River on St. Patrick’s Day, as one DC tourist told me.
