A Friendship Letter to God

Honest letters. Deep love. A journey with God. Weekly reflections from my friendship with Abba, soft, sacred, and real.

A Friendship Letter to God

You are deeply loved by God.

Not the future version of you.

Not the stronger version of you.

Not the version that finally gets everything right.

You.

Right now.

As you are.

Loved by ABBA.

God’s love has never had a bad day.

God’s love for me is my greatest security.

My love can be inconsistent. Some days it burns brightly, other days it struggles beneath fear, doubt, distractions, and weakness.

But God’s love has never had a bad day.

His love for me is not strengthened by my obedience or weakened by my failures. It is not here today and gone tomorrow. It does not fluctuate with my emotions, my performance, or my circumstances.

When I am close, He loves me.

When I wander, He loves me.

Open your Bible. You can’t truly know God’s heart if you never spend time in His Word.

Would you love for Friendship Letters to God to have an Instagram space too?

Some things are a little harder to share directly on Substack, and I’ve been thinking about creating a softer space where we can share little reminders, journaling resources, devotionals, and other thoughtful things more easily.

You are not your own protector. You are not your own provider. You are not the keeper of your destiny. God never asked you to carry His position.

Why are you scared? (God is Father)

There is nothing as powerful as being Chosen.

Because no one selects the family they are born into, or the parents they receive. You simply arrive into it.

But the love of ABBA is different.

It is a love that chooses you on purpose.

A love that wants you.

May you experience the love of God so deeply that every doubt you have ever carried about yourself melts away in His presence.

And may that love draw you into sweet fellowship with ABBA, a place of rest, delight, and unshakable intimacy where your heart longs to remain.

Saying ‘I love You, God’ is beautiful, but love for God is proven deeper than confession. It is revealed in how a life is lived.

There is power in knowing and living by the truth of God’s Word.

To know what has been freely given to us in Christ is to know how to stand, how to fight, and how to live victoriously every day.

Truth changes how we live, especially when that truth is rooted in what Christ has already accomplished for us.

May you receive grace to pray every day.

Pray in the bathroom.

Pray while doing the laundry.

Pray while walking.

Pray in the silence.

Pray when you feel like it.
